You’re doing it all, but you don’t have to
A Mothers Helper - for Beyond the Fourth Trimester
It takes a village
You’ve probably heard that phrase a lot—but what does it really mean when your baby’s no longer a newborn, and the visitors have stopped checking in?
Maybe your family is far away, or not always helpful. Maybe your partner works long hours, or you are juggling paid work and childcare. You’re likely carrying the weight of it all - the emotional labour of motherhood and the mental load.
I’ve supported mothers in all kinds of situations, and the result is the same: There’s real relief in having someone steady, practical, and kind in your corner, helping to carry the load.
“My little man will only contact nap on either me or his dad during the day. Luckily for us he absolutely adores Jasmine and happily fell asleep on her so this touched out Mama could have a break.”
From flustered and stressed out to
confident and relaxed
❈ Shift from self-doubt to steadiness with grounded, practical support that understands the realities of modern mothering—especially without a village.

❈ Rebuild depleted energy with nourishing food, gentle care, and a steady presence that holds space for your needs, not just your baby’s.
❈ Feel the weight lift as meals are prepared, laundry is folded, and the house begins to feel manageable again—giving you space to rest, recover, and just be.
I am passionate
about supporting mothers
Hi, I’m Jasmine—The Bayside Doula. I support mothers beyond the newborn days, offering steady, practical help through the often-overlooked seasons of early motherhood.
Whether your baby is crawling, your toddler is climbing the walls, or you’re deep in the preschool juggle, I’m here to ease the load. My in-home support is rooted in lived experience, professional training, and a deep understanding of how hard this stage can be without a village.
I’ve always been drawn to supporting those who are struggling to thrive. After experiencing the power of postpartum support myself, I combined my love of psychology, massage, and motherhood into this work—care that is both nourishing and no-nonsense.
When I’m not helping other mums across Brisbane and the Redlands, I’m living the messy, beautiful chaos of life as an ADHD mother of two. I share the honest bits in my blog and private Facebook group, so other mums know they’re not alone. I get it—and I’ve got you.
“When Jasmine contacted me I was in the trenches of horrendous sleep deprivation, anxiety and depression. I was trying and failing to ‘fix’ my sons sleep. Jasmine provided the emotional support and wisdom from a Mama who has walked the sleep deprivation path herself ... Truly worth every penny, save your money on the Snoo/sleep consultant and book in with Jasmine.”
Mothers Help:
-
Tidying & Cleaning
I’ll leave your home a little sparklier than I found it. How much I do depends on your needs, but the goal is always the same—to lighten your load and create a peaceful space to rest and enjoy your family.
-
Cooking
I cook, prep meals, and help you get organised—whether it’s dinner for the night or snacks for the week. I can support you as your baby starts solids or help you find recipes for fussy kids.
-
Laundry
Laundry is endless. I can wash, fold, put clothes away, rotate baby and kids’ wardrobes, and change bedsheets and towels each week—whatever helps keep the washing pile from taking over.
-
Emotional Support
As a postpartum professional and fellow mother, I offer a non-judgemental space to share—whether it’s about birth, matrescence, relationships, neurodivergence, infant sleep, or simply how you're coping. Some mothers are lonely in this season and find comfort in the quiet presence of another mother in the home.
-
Care for baby and children
I’m here to care for the carers—which sometimes means looking after your baby or older child while you shower, exercise, or simply enjoy a break with your hands free.
-
Family Admin & Organisation
Writing shopping lists, meal planning, toy rotations, or finally tackling the junk drawer—whatever the task, I would love to help. It’s about creating space, ease, and a bit more breathing room in your day.
“Tuesday visits from Jasmine were my favourite part of the week!”

What is the Mothers Helper?
Mothers Helper is in-home support for mums of older babies and young children who need a break, a helping hand, or just someone steady in their corner. It’s practical, calm, and grounded care for the everyday chaos of life after the fourth trimester.
What kind of things can you help with?
Whatever makes your day easier. Cooking and meal prep, folding laundry, tidying toys, light cleaning, baby and child care while you rest or shower, decluttering, emotional support, or even just adult conversation and a cuppa. I'm there to lighten the load.
Do I need to be home during visits?
Depends—I am not a nanny. I work alongside you to create a calmer, more manageable day. I can care for your baby or child while you rest, but I don’t offer care in your absence. I can, however continue to clean while you and the kids step duck out for a bit.
How often can I book?
Some mothers book a set number of weekly visits, others reach out when things start to feel too much. It’s flexible. If you are interested in ongoing weekly support we can work out a rhythm that suits your needs, your budget, and your season of motherhood.
What ages is this for?
This service is for mothers with babies older than six months through to preschool age. Whether you’ve got a crawler, a climber, a chatty three-year-old, (or all three!!) I’m here to support you in the thick of it.
Is this like postpartum doula support?
Yes—but tailored for the next stage of motherhood. While postpartum doula care focuses on the early newborn period, Mothers Helper support recognises that the need for care doesn’t stop at 12 weeks. Mothers Help includes less behind the scenes support, and focuses more on the practical help mothers need indefinitely.
I don’t need all the things, just help with food / laundry / kids. Is that ok?
Absolutely. You can leave me a list or I can walk in and read the room. This is your time and support is shaped around you.
What time do you visit?
Mothers Helper visits usually take place during the day, between 9am and 3pm. Morning or early afternoon works well for most families, but I’ll always try to align with your routine. I also offer a limited number of ‘witching hour’ sessions between 3pm and 6pm—ideal for support with dinner, bath, and the bedtime wind-down. If you’re not sure what time would suit best, just get in touch and we can talk it through.
-
I invoice clients via email prior to each visit.
You can pay via direct deposit, credit card, After Pay, or cash.
I’m very happy to talk about payment plans.

Inviting someone into your sanctuary is a profoundly personal choice
So let’s have an obligation-free phone or video chat to get to know each other and discuss your priorities and needs.
