Sanctuary is a 3-hour in-home visit designed to honour and support a mother in the early months after birth. It’s a pause in the swirl of newborn life — a chance for her to be held, fed, and nurtured.

This visit is an offering of deep care. It includes:

  • A warm foot soak and foot massage to ground and soothe

  • Freshly baked morning tea

  • Doula support tailored to her needs — whether that’s a listening ear, breastfeeding support, or light help around the house.

  • How it works
    Get in touch using the form below. If there are no issues with availability or location, I will send an invoice for payment.

    Once funds have cleared, you’ll receive a digital voucher to print or forward on. If you prefer a physical voucher, I’m happy to post one out — just let me know.

    Booking the visit
    The recipient is encouraged to get in touch with me directly and as soon as possible. She doesn’t need to choose a date right away but it is good to touch base early so I can manage my calendar accordingly — I recommend booking the visit for anytime in the first 3 months postpartum.

    Recipients will also be asked to complete an intake form online prior to their visit. This covers vital information to help me care for them, such as allergies etc.

    Gifting with confidence
    If you’re buying on behalf of a group (e.g. a mothers group or workplace), I can customise the voucher with a message or names. Just let me know what you’d like me to write.

  • How long is the gift voucher valid for?
    Sanctuary vouchers are valid for 4 years from the date of purchase. However I strongly recommend the visit be scheduled for the first 3 months postpartum.

    Does the recipient need to prepare anything?
    Not at all. I bring everything needed for the foot soak, massage, and morning tea. My aim is to make things easier, not add another task to her list.

    Do you travel outside of Bayside?
    Yes — I can travel to any Brisbane or Redlands suburb up to around an hour drive from my home in Wynnum. I can travel further for a small travel fee. Feel free to contact me if you’re unsure whether her area is included.

    Can I customise the voucher or add a message?
    Absolutely. Whether it’s a short note from you or names from a group, I’m happy to personalise the digital or printed voucher.

    What if the recipient doesn’t end up using the voucher?
    Life with a baby can be unpredictable. If things change, the value of the voucher can be transferred to another service or a different family — just get in touch and we’ll work something out.

    What if the recipient wants to book a postpartum package with you?
    That’s wonderful. The value of the Sanctuary voucher can be applied toward a full postpartum support package if she decides she'd like ongoing care. I’ll chat with her about what’s possible and tailor something that suits her needs.

    Can I keep the gift a surprise?
    Yes! You can choose to have the digital or printed voucher sent to you so you can gift it when the time is right — perfect for baby showers, Mother Blessings, or surprise deliveries.

    Can the recipient choose their add-ons later?
    If you're gifting the base Sanctuary package ($280), the recipient is welcome to add massage, meals, or a gift box when they book, and simply pay the difference.

    Is this suitable for someone who’s had a difficult birth or is struggling emotionally?
    Absolutely. My work is trauma-informed and gentle. I’ll always meet the mother where she’s at — with no pressure, no judgment, and no expectation for her to “be okay.” If she needs extra emotional support, we’ll go slowly and with care.

    Do you offer refunds on gift vouchers?
    While I don’t offer refunds, vouchers may be transferable — they can be used by another mother within my operating area, or applied to a different service if her circumstances change. I’m happy to help make that transition smooth if needed.

Hi, I’m Jasmine—The Bayside Doula. I’m a postpartum doula, a mother, and someone who knows firsthand how overwhelming those early months of motherhood can be. I live and work in Brisbane’s Bayside, supporting women in the season after birth — offering care that’s grounded, gentle, and deeply practical.

I created Sanctuary because I believe every mother deserves a moment to feel looked after. To exhale. To be reminded that she matters. My in-home support is rooted in lived experience, professional training, and a deep understanding of how hard this stage can be without a village.

I’ve always been drawn to supporting those who are struggling to thrive. After experiencing the power of postpartum support myself, I combined my love of psychology, massage, and motherhood into this work—care that is both nourishing and no-nonsense.

When I’m not helping other mums across Brisbane and the Redlands, I’m living the messy, beautiful chaos of life as an ADHD mother of two. I share the honest bits in my blog and private Facebook group, so other mums know they’re not alone. I get it. Postpartum Doula Support is the gift I wish I had received.
